    Hi, Mich! Christmas went well here, although a bit quiet. We went to a friends house the afternoon of Christmas Eve to exchange gifts, because she had to work on Christmas day. We gave her and her husband a wind chime, and a gift card for Cabela's. They gave me a turquiose bracelet made by a Chrokee lady, and they gave Gary his hunting/fishing license for the year of 2010.

    I've heard people say before that it is always raining in Washington state. They seem to get allot of both rain and fog? It would be too dreary of a state for my tastes for me to live in.

    Well, we didn't have much fog but a lot of rain & very cold while I was there it rained every day! I froze! It was good to get home again where its a bit warmer & no rain! How was your Christmas?     Hi, Mich! How are you doing these day's?

    I know what you mean. We got some rain here in the desert where I live at the other day. A dust storm had also blown through in the city near me. There was a big pile up on the freeway over there that killed 3 people, and hospitalized others.

    Both mine and Gary's family's live out of state, and neither of us went home this year, and those places don't feel like "home" to us anyways. Gary's family had moved from Vermont to Florida. Most of mine are still up there in Minnesota, and according to the news about there, they have really gotten some snow dumped on them bad this year. Airplanes and trains are holding up for traveler's. I am glad that we aren't involved in that nor have to worry about it.

    It's just Gary and I here, so we went out last night to eat at Red Lobster for our Christmas Eve meal. Today we we be eating our Christmas dinner at an Italian Restaurant called Bucco De Peppos. Turkey and other traditional Christmas menu items may not be on neither one of those menu's, but I can't see cooking a big Christmas meal for just the 2 of us. Many restaurants are closed now for the holiday's, so you basically have to take what you can get. But it's better than me having to eat leftovers for the next 2 week's... lol

    I went to visit my son in Washington state & the constant rain & cold really got to me! Just felt like it went right through me. So, I came home early & my son was very understanding about it. We had a nice visit & it was good to see him again after several years. Its beautiful & green where he lives & its in a forest with huge pine trees all around his house. Beautiful & serene to look out on. I bet its really gorgeous in the summer.
